Difficulty Breathing, or Dyspnea, is a condition in which a person feels unable to get enough air or oxygen into the body. It may cause sensations of shortness of breath, chest tightness, discomfort, or the need to use more effort than usual when breathing in and out. This condition can occur suddenly (acute) or develop gradually over time (chronic).
Common Signs and Symptoms
• Rapid or Labored Breathing:
Breathing becomes faster, shorter, and more forceful than normal.
• Feeling Unable to Take a Full Breath:
A sensation of chest tightness, pressure, or incomplete inhalation.
• Abnormal Breathing Sounds:
Such as wheezing or snoring-like sounds while breathing.
• Unusual Fatigue:
Feeling tired or exhausted even after mild physical activity.
Common Causes
• Lung-Related Conditions:
Such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, or Long COVID.

Including heart failure or irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia).
• Psychological Factors:
